I’ve been working on quite a few bedrooms lately, and one that I am overly excited about is for my repeat client, Kristi Glidewell. Kristi admits to having caught the ‘renovation bug.’  When several of her neighbors started overhauling their properties over the past year, she and her husband jumped on the band wagon and have decided to add on a guest suite to their current Foxcroft home. The new addition will include a private guest bedroom and bathroom, and with the addition of extra rooms, this will add a pergola to their existing patio on the first floor (more on that later).

I came up with 2 different options for Kristi’s new space and she was immediately drawn to the first option, which of course included her favorite color… blue!

I plan to incorporate custom elements which will really make this addition have that one of a kind feel, like the custom occasional chair & custom headboard for example.

Even though the reno deadline is set for April, a lot of the items we’ve decided to use are ‘new introductions’ which means they sell out fast! So, it’s wise to have a game plan and get everything on order. If all goes as planned the reno & the pretty stuff will both be finished in a timely manner…… music to my ears!
