hello everyone!  its friday, hooray!  another week down & another install is in the books… today I want to feature part 1 of the renfrow’s phase 2.  as you may remember I helped them in their dining room, foyer & living room last year and this time around we focused on their porch & playroom!

shortly after phase 1,  the couple contacted me again to come tackle a a few more spaces in their home & I was game! up first is their screened-in porch!

the porch was lacking everything except a small bistro table & a couple of chairs, it was bare bones and I had free range to make it over how I wanted… they definitely needed a larger eating area fit for 5 people & a seating area where they could relax and enjoy the fall weather. the space also need a punch of color!  I had to keep budget in mind and a sofa was needed in this space, typically the largest ticket item. I lucked out when I came across an outdoor sofa on Craigslist that I knew could be transformed with some new upholstery & paint. I scooped it up for a song and sold the couple on recycling it. It looks so good & I’m glad they trusted me!  I’m loving how colorful & comfy this space turned out to be! let’s take a look!!!

this space is so happy & cheery, it fits this family well!
I hope they will enjoy it for many years to come!
