installed! Pack Family Kid’s Room’s

I recently had the pleasure of working with my client Amy Pack again and this time around her projects consisted of 3 surprise bedrooms for her son & step daughters! I was thrilled when she gave me the go-ahead to get these rooms under way, and what fun to make it a surprise for the teen’s! They had no idea what we had planned and the reveal was too cute! Let’s take a look at each room….

KIPLING is up first….. he is a huge fan of the outdoors and Amy wanted to incorporate some rustic elements within his room. I proposed a wood clad wallpaper as a feature wall where the new bed would sit as well as a new dresser, desk & night stand in a dark wood finish and the room wouldn’t be complete without his own taxidermy!

MAGGIE is next…. Amy and I have been planning her room since before Christmas when she wanted to have her room done as her big gift last year. We decided to wait so that all three rooms could be done at the same time. Maggie’s room definitely needed some amping up as it was time to get away from the Pottery Barn bedding and give her an updated look as she makes her way in & through high school.

NATALIE is last but definitely not least…. her room before boasted a large black daybed that made the room feel super small. I wanted to keep the palette in here monochromatic with pops of cobalt blue in order to make the room feel larger than it actually is. And again in here, the PB bedding had to go, its time for a more sophisticated look for these girls!!!

I love the way each one of these rooms turned out, and the kids were
super excited to get their rooms redone! Its amazing what new paint & the right furniture will do to make a room feel larger than it is.
So, Amy, whats next!!? 🙂

Until next time….
design swell. live well.
