While researching new color trends, i came across this post from sherwin williams on the 2013 color forecast.  i’m not typically a fan of pastels (unless it’s pastel gray) but i have to say these retro inspired hues caught my attention.
it’s pastel kicked up a notch.  paired with black, it’s grown up, not girly.

try a funky wallpaper on an accent wall or ceiling!

the iconic panton chair.  i can’t get enough.  i have two of these in white in my home.  they make great desk and dining chairs.

for the really adventurous, add a hanging bubble chair.
make sure you have it installed properly.  it also comes with a stand if you’d rather not deal with structural issues.

when decorating your home, don’t take things too seriously. having fun
and taking risks is the best part of design, and anyway, paint is easy to change.
