my client debra hyde called after finding evaru through an online designer search. i always love hearing how people find us, we must be doing something right! she needed help with her master bedroom, living room and dining room. this post is dedicated to the dining room.
her existing room had great architectural features via wainscoting and chair rail, but the room was dark due to burgundy walls.
debra and her husband like ‘ocean’ tones, so we’re recreating the home’s palette in blues and greens.
i immediately thought of jade green for the dining room!
sherwin williams ‘restful’ was the perfect starting point…
throw in some fabrics to bring the scheme together and a wow rug…throw in some fabrics to bring the scheme together and a wow rug…
the pale jade background of this rug is the perfect choice to ground the space and tie everything together.
i wanted to create a casual room to fit my client’s lifestyle. a distressed finish and playful legs on the dining table, and using benches instead of typical dining chairs provides plenty of seating and keeps the room less formal.
the custom benches will look amazing upholstered in the watercolor chevron!
and the crowning jewel in the space, this gorgeous capiz chandelier!
