It’s getting to be that time of the year again, when we start getting calls & emails from clients in need of a mini-facelift on their space because they know the holidays are right around the corner and they need help sprucing up or updating their homes… Well, I recently started working with a referral client on parts of her home, the family room needed a facelift for sure. Since we weren’t ditching any of the furniture and she needs to get a few more years out of it, we will be adding all new pillows, lamps and other accents to freshen up this living space….

Before, the space was a little blah. All of the colors & textures of the furniture blended together, there were no pops of color, and she had very traditional lamps that her mother gave her, which she hated.

I decided to punch this space up with red, brown & black. With all new pillows, a couple of new gold lamps and reupholstering her ottoman to make the club chairs not so matchy-match, the space is a little more lively!

It’s amazing what fabric, new pillows, new lamps and even a new paint job can do to a space. And, it really doesn’t take that much to get a freshened up look!
