does the word custom make you think expensive?? well think again! don’t be afraid to go custom if that dreamy piece of furniture you love doesn’t come in the size you need. our new carpenter can create anything you desire, and usually for half the price of the retail sticker. that has been the case here recently with my client Ann Luszcz. I have been working with her to finish off her grown up living room… she was in need of a coffee table to complete the space. I loved the vintage but modern look of a particular Somerset Bay cocktail table, but once priced out, the piece was overly expensive and really not the right size for Ann’s space.

so, what to do….? let’s get it custom made, I said to her. in about 4 weeks, our carpenter, Wes, had it built and ready to deliver to her house. I was very pleased with the outcome and so was Ann!

custom pieces can really give you endless options for size, color, stain, etc. and usually a fraction of the cost for designer pieces. don’t rule it out if you can’t find that perfect piece for your space. we can always draw up something for you and get it quoted out in no time.
