I recently designed three rooms for clients kavya and vishnu in columbia, sc. a dining room, a home office and a family room. I feel each room deserves it’s own post, so be on the look out for more on these rooms later this week.
to say I’m thrilled to share this install is a MAJOR understatement! hands down, this is my favorite room I’ve designed to-date. I’m pretty sure it has something to do with all the touches of pink sprinkled around the room, but the wallpaper, chandelier, rug, I could go on and on…
let’s see where this room started, then let the drooling begin…
this amazing telefina panel fabric from @maxwellfabrics was the inspiration for the entire room. the pink is obvious, but look closely and you’ll see small pops of embroidered turquoise dots. i actually just got to meet the designer for telefina & maxwell, the super talented @jenniferapple. hope you like how this project turned out!
i am crazy for this piece of art. the subtle hints of minty blue mimic the color painted in the coffered ceiling and the vases on the table.
this room just makes me happy, period, and i’m so grateful to my clients for trusting my vision for this room. kavya and vishnu are some of the sweetest people i’ve had the pleasure to work with, they even made me traditional indian tea on install day 🙂
stay tuned for posts on their home office and family room. we’re tackling the master bedroom next; it will not disappoint! design swell. live well.
