today i’m sharing the home office i completed in columbia, sc several months ago for the reddy’s. the reddy’s wanted a home office they could share, which meant a desk that could accommodate both kavya and vishnu at the same time. there was also a need for file storage, space to display their degrees, and a cozy spot to sit and relax. we ended up using their existing orange loveseat and built the room palette around that.

i fell in love with the vintage cabinet i found. we had it lacquered in sherwin williams’ ‘snowbound’ and it’s the perfect spot to display trinkets and photos. instead of a pin board, i opted for a magnet board. i adhered fabric to the metal substrate and it works like a charm!

i’m really happy with the way the room turned out, and so were my clients! it’s a bright, organized spot for working or simply having a cup of that wonderful indian tea vishnu made me on install day! up next, the reddy’s living room reveal!
