this week has been a little crazy to say the least.  my step-daughter had her baby boy on friday, the boys and i went to a birthday party for my 2-year-old cousin on saturday, mark helped me put ezra’s nursery together on sunday, and i traveled to blacksburg, virgnia for an install on monday.  whew, that’s a lot to cram into a few short days!
i’m still chugging along with my master closet project, participating in the one room challenge with linda of blog Calling It Home.  if you’re new to the blog, the ORC is a 6-week challenge where you transform a room in your home, blogging about your progress every week and revealing your space on the last thursday.  we are in week 4, to catch up, take a look at the first three weeks below.

this past week, the remaining closet components were installed, and my grasscloth has started going up!  here’s a little sneak peek of the gorgeous color, i’m completely smitten!

my next decision is figuring out the light fixture. i saw this beauty at market last week, unfortunately, it’s not in stock yet…

for this next week, i’m planning to get my roman shades installed.  they look amazing!  i’m also planning to get the rest of my clothes purged and hanging up!  i’m still waiting on my benches to arrive.  i’m crossing my fingers i can get those in time!  head over to calling it home to see the other linking participants, there’s lots of great talent out there!  design swell.  live well.
