you may remember the harvey’s from the modern master bedroom project at their charlotte metropolitan condo.  this blog post is all about the master bedroom and guest room at their Blacksburg, Virginia residence.

while the charlotte space is all about bold color, my clients wanted something more subdued here.  creams, whites and grays were the palette, with just a touch of VA Tech orange thrown in.

this space was brand new and a blank canvas.  it was amazing to see the transformation in a matter of hours.  take a look at where we started and the finished project!

the grasscloth is one of my favorite things in the room. the frames were cut and painted here in charlotte and were assembled on site. a super easy trick to add interest and texture. stunning.

after this room was finished, the harvey’s wanted their guest room to feel luxe too. i put a design together and shipped everything to Blacksburg. the room is a smaller version perfect for making guests feel special.

on this trip, we also delivered these custom counter stools. LOVE how they turned out! our next project that’s underway is the adjacent dining space and living room. stay tuned for those designs! enjoy!
