today on the blog, i’m sharing a soothing living room makeover for the falco’s bungalow in elizabeth. when we first met, the room was a completely blank slate. it was lacking a proper layout and needed a focal point. my clients wanted calming colors with a relaxed feel. take a look at my plan for the room…
the only uninterrupted wall is the one directly across from the front door. i chose to add grasscloth to that one wall to give some depth and texture to the room; the other walls were painted in benjamin moore ‘edgecomb gray.’
layers of charcoal and grayed blues came together to create a cozy space for this couple; just in time for their first baby to arrive! i sincerely hope they enjoy relaxing in this room for a long time to come. design swell. live well.
