to start this week off, i’m sharing some projects i’ve been working on. one is a surprise nursery. only the doctor and i know the sex of the baby, how fun is that?! the other is a living room redesign and dining area spruce up. the living room and dining area are being installed this week and i’m super excited to see these spaces come together. take a look at the design for the space…

this is how the space looked when i first saw it. my client wanted to keep the existing wall color, so i chose fabrics grounded in the tan tone but included some pops of color. adding two sconces to the fireplace nooks will help brighten the dark room. we’re also adding doors to hide the cluttered shelves.

 this was so much fun putting together.  i had the envelope for weeks before i opened it to see what the sex of the baby was!  i wanted to stay completely unbiased as i designed the space.

this room is/was the husband’s man cave, so this is going to be one awesome transformation!
