it’s that time friends, reveal day for the guest participants of the one room challenge with linda of blog calling it home! those six weeks flew by, but the work to transform the former master bathroom in our 1960s home into the kids’ bath was well worth it! this time around, i was blessed to finish early and have my friend and talented photographer erica mark shoot the room for me. before we get to the good stuff, take a look back at the progress along the way…
week one | week two | week three | week four | week five
the room went from blah to beautiful, and i am so happy to share the final space with you! i ended up leaving the shower tile as-is, and with the newness of everything else, i actually don’t mind it now (kinda). take a look at my design board for the room, and where we started…
i am so in love with this bathroom! it’s cheery, fun and perfect for my two boys. i love that i was able to reuse my vintage mirror and it look appropriate in the space, and since i stole sutton’s dresser for this project (= temporarily messy room) i now am on the hunt for a new piece for his bedroom! i’m sure it will be vintage of course 😉
take a look at some fun detail shots…
i sincerely hope you’ve enjoyed this transformation as much as i have! it feels good to almost have the entire house completed. one more thing off my list! check out the other guest participants at calling it home to see their reveals too. i’m going to spend a good bit of time this week/weekend catching up! a complete source list is below.
a huge thank you to craig waltonowski, ashley mullis, and erica mark for all their help along the way, and to linda of calling it home for hosting this amazing event! this is my fourth ORC and i can’t wait to do it again in october! and a special thank you to my youngest schafer, for helping with the finishing touches. i love you sweet pea!
design swell. live well.
