as we all know, october is breast cancer awareness month and that is right around the corner.  my boys and i always love seeing the fountain on fairview road dyed pink the first week of october; it’s a great reminder.

shortly after we opened our doors, our friend converse roberts stopped by.  she was filling us in on some upcoming events and thought we would be a great fit for the Pink Boots Ball that is held every september at myers park country club. since this cause is near and dear to my heart, i reached out to the vice president of ‘carolina breast friends‘ here in charlotte to see what evaru could do to contribute.

we decided to take part in their silent auction and donated a voucher for design services to honor the memory of my aunt Terry Greenway who passed away in 1996.

converse has been a great resource in other ways too. she was instrumental in helping us decide how we wanted to advertise our growing business.
after reviewing our options, we finally decided that southpark magazine was the way to go. honestly, the hardest part of the entire process was selecting which project images to use!

we wanted to show you our first ad that was published last week. we are beyond thrilled with the way it looks!
