Friday was install day for my client Patty Comer’s Foyer & Den! Finally!! The suspense of putting the finishing touches on her Foyer and Den were killing both she and I as we could see the spaces almost complete. She had been patiently waiting for everything to come in for a while now, and the wait was well worth it in the end. I love how everything turned out!

In the before picture you can see how dark the foyer was and didn’t feel very welcoming. The new light fixture not only brightens up this space, but also gives to that wow factor. Its large scale is just what the foyer needed! The color scheme for the foyer and front den came from the large art she has in her kitchen, that was the first thing I noticed in our initial meeting, and I definitely wanted to play up that purple!! It is so in right now… love it!

The Comer’s den was less than party ready when we started… Patty hated the fireplace & the mantle, it was way too traditional for her taste. So, I collaborated with Nancy Martin of Impact Design Resources (www.impactdesignresources.com) to give Patty a more substantial mantle that would go with all of the design elements I was planning to implement in the den.

So you’ve seen all of the before pictures, let’s get this party started!!!
