Neon is all the rage right now in fashion. It is really making a come back from the 80’s… I was in the gym the other day and couldn’t help but notice all of the bright colors … from neon tennis shoes, sweatshirts & tanks to even hair accessories! The gals were rockin’ the look. I’ve been a little scared to try and pull off the look – as I am usually in more muted colors…. but today I decided to be a little daring with a neon pink & nude striped shirt 🙂

As I continue to see these looks in fashion, I am wondering when we will begin to see the trend in home decor….

Well, I had a meeting yesterday with a local rep to see a new line she is representing, and I had a glimpse of this brightness throughout many of the European lines she carries. Looks like it is trending big time in Europe… of course! They are always ahead of us. Can’t wait for the new memo samples to arrive so I can get in on this look. It is best done in small doses with a large amount of neutrals used in the rest of the space.

Bright colors don’t have to be reserved for the kid’s rooms, let a little color in the rest of your living spaces and see what a difference it can make!!
