it’s time for another update on the ORC with blog ‘calling it home‘ and many other fabulous designers!  to get caught up, read about week one and week two.  i’m in the process of renovating my guest bathroom in a six-week period and documenting every step of the way!

i finally decided on a fabric for the shower curtain, take a peek at this amazing design by robert allen.

this week, i’m happy to announce that i received my vanity!  it’s gorgeous with its new black lacquered finish!  in my opinion, lacquer can cure anything 🙂  the sink, faucet and mirror also arrived.  check out the vanity ‘staged’ with the sink and faucet.  i’m thinking the faucet should be installed off to the side, it leaves the main part of the sink free for face washing – VERY important for those who know my bedtime routine!

i feel like lots of progress happened this week, even though we haven’t started one bit of construction. i’m not starting to stress yet, demo should begin next week and i hope putting the room back together won’t be so bad. fingers crossed!
