installed! wingate dental office

the install for wingate dental care took several days, and what a transformation! i couldn’t be more pleased with the overall result and the employees are loving it too. this is the second practice i’ve completed for dr. mark lassiter, and it won’t be the last…

the practice was acquired over the summer after the original owner retired and was ready to sell. there was a short time frame to switch everything over; management, procedures, etc. as well as the interior makeover portion. this installation is a great example of using mostly stock elements to transform a space.

take a look at my vision for wingate dental care, the entire office palette was inspired by this piece of art…

the existing space was traditional, so i didn’t want to stray too far from the bones of the office. there were great moulding and trim details i wanted to keep. in the back area where the operatories are, the lab is located in the center and is clad in a herringbone wood panelling. i loved the detail, but wanted to remove ALL the stained wood in the office. this meant that all the baseboards, door casings, doors, chair rail and the wood clad wall had to be painted. it was the only way to make the space look fresh and new.

the office wouldn’t be compete without the lassiter allen dental group logo. after painting the foyer in sherwin wiliam’s ‘foggy day’ this signage really pops and greets each patient as they walk in the door. i love how bright, happy and colorful this office is now, and i sincerely hope the patients enjoy the cozy redo. it’s nice to have a restful place to be when some are anxious about seeing a dentist! design swell. live well.
