if you’re following my progress with the ‘one room challenge’ linking event with blog calling it home, it’s time for an update!  if you’re just now joining, please read about week one to understand what’s going on.  i’m tackling my guest bathroom…

the main thing i tackled this week was the tile.  i visited the showroom on saturday to confirm my floor tile selection, then went home to measure.  after triple checking the measurements, i placed my order on monday.  for the shower wall tile, i wanted to save $$$.  i know where to splurge and where to save, so i set off for home depot.  i decided to change the pattern slightly and make it more of a tone-on-tone look.  mark was nice enough to hold the pieces for me 🙂  i’m using ‘snow white’ and ‘almond’ in a striped pattern.  all the tile should arrive next week!

while measuring, i realized the mirror i selected isn’t going to allow me to get a sconce on each side of it, it’s too big, so i’ve been looking for another mirror. luckily, i spent a few days at market in high point and have lots of options running through my head. i’m also toying with changing the sconces, blame it on all the cool things you see at market! speaking of, check out who lindsey and i met monday! she is STUNNING!
