i am gearing up for a fabulous install this week for the Currence family. i met these guys a while back when they were still in the purchasing stages of their new home in the elizabeth area. we reconnected and nailed down the designs and i can’t wait to install on thursday!

their living room is a long open space, over 15′ wide, with no dividers, walls, nothing. the couple couldn’t envision what to do, but after multiple layout options and help visualizing what will go in here, I was able to get them on board.

on one side there is a fireplace, so we will do a sofa and pair of chairs and let this be the wine drinking, conversation area. the other is where the tv will go, so I proposed a big comfy sectional, another set of chairs and a large ottoman to complete this space. we are doing 2 matching rugs to tie the spaces together and leaving a definitive walk way from the front door to other spaces in the home.

keeping the couple’s eclectic style in mind, I pulled together a colorful scheme using an art piece as a jumping off point….
