after a LONG blogging break, i’m happy to be back with an awesome whole-house install to share!  this project was a fast-track, two month from beginning to install deal that turned out amazing!  this time around, i teamed up with my good friend erica mark, of erica mark photography, to capture the spaces.  this is going to be a long post, filled with gorgeous images, so sit back and enjoy!

we’ll start with the family room and work our way through each floor.  please note, the before pictures are from the previous homeowner.  the style, before i got my hands on the house, was  ornate, crystal everywhere, you get the point…  on the main level, i tackled the family room, dining room, master bedroom and study.  i tweaked the master bathroom and kitchen, but didn’t photograph those areas.

moving upstairs to the boys’ bedrooms, we’ll start in the youngest son’s room.  i was told he loved orange, so i started with phillip jeffries manilla hemp grasscloth in tangerine for the wall behind and opposite the bed.

the older son loves shades of saturated blue.  we actually went back after older brother saw the tangerine grasscloth and added phillip jeffries manilla hemp in turquoise to his bedroom.

on the basement level, i tackled the kids’ lounge and media room. the media room isn’t shown here, it’s pretty dark in there and we reused a lot of existing furniture pieces.

saying this project was fun to work on would be a total understatement! the bershad’s were super easy to work with, especially considering we met for an hour one june afternoon when they were in town from manhattan! i’m thrilled their new home was move-in ready after my install and they are enjoying their new charlotte digs!
