LOOK TO LOVE: 70’s vibe

i never thought i would say this, but i’m really digging what feels like 70’s colors these days.  ochre, brown, burgundy, and teal are all on my radar.  my husband and i just sold our house and when i started designing for our next home, i knew i wanted to go dark and loungey, but still have a few pops of color.  i amazingly was drawn to these dark hues, i’m vintage ’76, so i guess that’s only appropriate.

it all started with this ted baker rug for surya.  i’m completely smitten!

these roar + rabbit beauties have been on my heart list for a while now, i finally nabbed a pair in wasabi velvet.  bonus they are as comfortable as they are gorgeous, and they swivel!

i’m envisioning farrow & ball ‘pink ground’ on the walls…

hands down one of my favorite vendors from the UK, zoffany, totally brings it this season with their wallpapers and fabrics.  deciding what to use is the only hard part…  and how fabulous are these teal agate sconces!!!!

lucite is nothing new, but these new lucite pieces are right in line with the times…

and can i just tell you all how much i love these amber knobs for my next kitchen!

and this lovely lady from hayley mitchell art pretty much sums up the entire vibe i’m looking for.

SO MUCH GOOD STUFF happening in the design world these days!  if anything catches your eye, hit us up to order at info@evarudesign.com and follow along as i share designs for our new home!  i’ve got my work cut out for me, but i’m off to a great start!
design swell.  live well.
