most people don’t use their ‘formal’ dining room very often.
for this family, every meal is eaten here.
brittan duBose needed some help to make her room more functional and modern.
the bones were great; large room size, beautiful pale blue walls with a hand-painted frame detail and a stunning gold chandelier.
she and her husband wanted a new round dining table that would comfortably seat six, and when seating eight, would feel cozy and intimate.
i had an idea for the table immediately. check out this gorgeous hand-hewn table by
patagonia legacy. i’m crazy for the detail on the base.
custom chairs were exactly what the room needed, and after looking through some very eclectic fabric options, this is the combination we decided on.
a faux leather for the seat, coral linen welt and a great geometric for the backs.
i enjoyed working with brittan again and hope the family enjoys their new dining room!
